Availability?
Appointments are needed for all photo shoots. Let me know if you'd prefer weekday/weekend and AM/PM. Please email to book your date and time.
Types of payments accepted and due date?
Cash, Debit/Paypal, Venmo
Payment is due the day of or anytime before the photo shoot.
Deposits and/or contracts may be required for photo services over $140+.
Are there cancellation fees?
Yes, due to the time invested in prepping for the photo shoot and booking a date/time slot, a $20 non-refundable cancellation fee will be required for any cancellations within 24 hours of the photo shoot. Cancellations due to weather conditions or illness may be waived. Payment is accepted via PayPal.
Where are the photo shoots conducted? Do you travel?
The location of the photo shoot depends on preference of indoors or outdoors photography, the size of the party and per the weather. If indoors, the photo shoot will be conducted at my home studio in the 95864 area code or if there's another desired location, travel fees may apply. You will have the option to have a backdrop color of your choice and/or a themed/DIY type of backdrop. Props will be provided, but please let me know in advanced regarding any special requests and/or ideas so we can collaborate to create the perfect photo shoot session. Ideas are endless, so lets get creative!
If there is party of three or more, outdoors would be preferable due to space. You can decide on your favorite location within the Sacramento region. I do travel outside of the Sacramento region, but additional traveling costs may apply.

How does the process work? Do I help plan anything?
I am here to make your vision come alive. Any input on shots, themes, colors and/or prop ideas are greatly appreciated. Please provide any photos or ideas to start the planning process. Once we decide on an idea, we can book a date/time and I will provide props, background drops, etc. If you have anything in particular that you would like to bring, please do.
Do you get actual physical prints or digital photos?
Digital images are provided. Once completed, the photos may be downloaded from the folder onto a desktop/laptop computer. If a client does not own a computer/laptop, a USB or disc can be provided. Once the digital files are downloaded, you will have the full release of the photos to print at any printing location.
Digital photos provide a great way to share images via social media, email and text messaging amongst loved ones. A full signed release of photos will be provided and may be needed at printing locations when ordering and/or picking up your prints.
Turnaround on completed photo edits and downloads?
Typically photos proofs are ready for review at least 1 week after the photo shoot is conducted depending on package. These photos will be lightly edited and placed on a private folder with password for review. You will then have up to one week to decide on your top images and then we will proceed with the final editing phase. This can take anywhere from 2-7 days depending on package size. For events, it can take up to 3 weeks and for weddings, it can take up to 3 months to receive all images with final edits. Once the final photos are completed, they must be downloaded within 7 days of receiving the link.
After seeing the edited photos, can I purchase extra digital images than originally bought?
Additional images sold a la carte, will be $15. If you would like to purchase the 6+ bundle, each additional image would be only $10 instead of $15. A PayPal invoice can be sent over via email to complete the transaction prior to downloading.
Can I order physical prints directly from Celisse Elaine Photography?
Yes, please inquire if you would rather have or would like to include physical prints as well to your package and we can work out a special package option if desired.
Recommendations for photo printing?
I highly recommend Costco-Lustre style. They have some of the best quality prints on the market.

What are the non-cropped sizes that will be identical to how they appear on the website?
4x6, 6x9, 8x12, 12x18, 20x30
What if I want to print another size other than the recommended sizes above?
The image may be cropped a bit, however, you can decide which part of the image you would like to keep/crop if printing through Costco at their kiosk or on their online photo center. Other printing locations may have a kiosk to manually crop if desired.
How long are digital photos archived after a photo shoot? Can I purchase additional digital images at a later date?
Celisse Elaine Photography archives photos for a total of one year. During that time, digital images will be available for purchase. If a year surpass and still interested, please inquire to see availability.
Do you provide Holiday Card Package options?
Yes, I capture, create and order your cards all in one! All you would have to do is put a stamp on it and the recipient's address! Please inquire regarding costs. Each package is unique to each customer. Here are a few of my favorite themed holiday shoots from an annual Dental office client!
Referral Perks?
Refer a new client and receive 1 free additional digital image ($15 credit) to your next photo shoot package! Please let your friends and/or family members know to mention your name while booking their upcoming photo shoot.
Do you capture weddings? If so, what are the costs?
Yes, Celisse Elaine Photography captures weddings and would love to be apart of your special day! Each wedding is unique and prices vary depending on the size of the party, location/venue, time frame/hours needed, date of the wedding and if an engagement session will be included.

Do you sell Landscape Art?
Yes, all Art images on the website are available for purchase and vary per size and type of material. Landscape/Art images are sold by physical prints only. See links below for Art options and costs. If a special order is desired, please inquire and we can work together to create the perfect piece of Art for your home and/or office. Prints can be on paper, metal or canvas. Framed and unframed.
Are gift certificates available for purchase?
Yes, gift certificates make the best gifts for mommies to be and growing families! Gift certificates are handmade and can be purchased in various monetary increments and/or package options. Please inquire for more details.
Do you collaborate and do trades with other artists?
Yes, I love collaborating and working with other creatives! Each trade varies. Please inquire for more details if interested.
Do you conduct training classes and or shadowing during your photo shoots?
Let me know what type of training and/or shadowing you are interested in and we can definitely make it happen!
